Noodle lovers will surely make a comeback if they try egg noodle soup with Chinese red pork and fishballs at this shop, located on a narrow space on Charoen Krung Soi 22, Talad Noi market, Bangkok. Dubbed "kuay tiew roo" (a hole-in-the wall-noodle shop), the shop serves delicious
Chinese-Thai egg noodle soup with moo daeng ob nam phueng (red roast pork mixed with honey), and fishball noodles, with or without soup. Noodles are selling like hot cakes every day from 7.30am to 4pm. Prices start from 40 baht a bowl, with two baht for a cup of drinking water. The shop is not like a hole as it is called. It has an air-conditioned room behind it.
Kuay tiew roo is one of popular shops at Talad Noi market, just about 300 metres from Yaowarat or Chinatown, Hua Lamphong railway station and MRT subway train. Superb!
